vegetarian tips for Atkins dieter?

I just started the Atkins diet 3 days ago. I don’t care much for meat, but since starting the Atkins diet, that’s mainly what I have been eating – veggies and eggs too – and it’s really starting to make me sick.

Any Atkins dieters out there with some vegetarian/vegan recipes/tips/ideas?

If you want to go low carb you can do it without following the Atkins plan. Just stick to lean proteins like eggs, low fat and fat-free cheeses (string cheese and cottage cheese), soy patties and tofu, nuts, healthy fats like olive oil and avocados and plenty of vegetables.

Atkins was not designed with the vegetarian in mind, actually it was barely designed with health in mind.

You are getting sick because you are not eating a balance diet.

If you want to loose weight eat a well rounded diet of fresh whole foods, prepared without adding oils or fats.

there are other high protein, lower carb diets out there that are better suited for a vegetarian diet. Check out the following website:

Just get some protein powder it supplement the meats you don’t like.
